Emerald Pearl fabrication lumps

We are doing a 3cm Emerald Pearl Granite (http://tanbrown.org) kitchen Counter (http://GialloFiorito.com) top. The edge the client chose was an Ogee. The Stone (http://g603.net) has hard and (http://maplered.com) soft spots everywhere. This makes it hard to get and (http://maplered.com) evenlly polished edge. Any advise for preventing or getting rid of the lumps and (http://maplered.com) ripples?
